Charissa is an American sportscaster born on 5th May, 1982. ESPN analyst was appointed in 2012 to host SportsNation. She hosted ABC's Splash series along with Joey Lawrence. Thompson grew up in Seattle Washington. Thompson was the youngest among three. Thompson was determined to pursue a career in broadcasting since a very young age. She was a student at Inglemoor High School in Kenmore Washington. Thompson moved to California and attended community college. Later, she transferred to University of California Santa Barbara.
