Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian Actress who is best known as a main character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Television series Cosita linda & Voltea pa' which she is enamoured. She is also a dancer and is also a model. Born in Montreal, she's lived in Texas from the time she was a child and has always enjoyed performing. From a young age, she has learned a range different styles of dancing. She began participating in beauty contests around the age of 15. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention in 2008 after she was a part of the second season of Univision beauty pageant program Nuestra Belleza Latina. She made her acting debut in the year 2010, playing a receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's TV show Aurora. She appeared in the 2015 action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
