Ariana Richards

Ariana Clarice Richards was an American artist and actress. Most well-known is her portraying Lex Murphy in Jurassic Park, a blockbuster movie. Richards received several Young Artist Awards for her performances as a child, however now as an adult, she has concentrated more on her career in art. Ariana's Italian origins from her maternal grandmother's side trace through into Carlo Crivelli a well known Renaissance painter. It's also her ancestor from boxer John L. Sullivan. In October of 2005, she was crowned as the winner of the National Professional Oil Painting Competition held by the American Artist magazine. Ariana's first self portrait was a oil painting she made of the scene in the hit 1993 film Jurassic Park, wherein she is holding a bowl filled with jello, and a dragon lurks behind her. In April 2012, Ariana created a YouTube channel called GalleryAriana, where she posted her artwork. Besides Jurassic Park (1993) she was in a variety of famous films like Tremors (1990) Spaced Invaders (1990) Locked Up A Mother's Rage (1992) as well as Switched At Birth (1991). Ariana is a rider on a horse named Kindred spirit.
